Men and women ages 18 and up are invited to a weekend of inspiration, rest, and healing April 22-26! “Healing the Whole Person: Into the Deep” is a 5-day retreat to spend time growing in understanding of and receptivity to Christ's healing and peace in the heart of the Catholic Church. Our Spiritual Advisor Father Simon Tipps, Parochial Vicar, St. Maximilian Kolbe Roman Catholic Parish, joined Father Richard Heilman and Doug Barry on the US Grace Force podcast Monday, October 27. They discussed the “rebirth” of Durward’s Glen as a Catholic destination and what we can look forward to in the future.

Heaven’s Weapon
Fr. Simon Tipps is a priest of the Diocese of Madison currently assigned to St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish. Originally from the Green Bay area, Fr. Tipps’ parents worked at the Shrine of Our Lady of Champion for 25 years. He grew up spending most of his time there serving Holy Mass, giving tours, and assisting with work in the gift shop. After being homeschooled for twelve years, he graduated high school at age 16 and attended the University of Wisconsin Green Bay for two years studying business administration. At age 18, he transferred to the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN pursuing the same degree. The following year he entered St. John Vianney Minor Seminary in St. Paul MN, graduating with a degree in Philosophy in 2019. He continued his priestly formation in Milwaukee at St. Francis de Sales Major Seminary and was ordained a priest in May of 2023. Fr. Tipps seeks to help others develop a deep love for Jesus in The Most Blessed Sacrament and know the power of The Virgin Mary, especially through The Holy Rosary.
Midnight Mass
It's been a long-standing tradition for Durward's Glen to open it’s Chapel doors to all for Midnight Mass on the 24th of December.
A traditional Catholic Mass will begin at 11:00 pm, doors open at 10:30 pm.
